We’re a strategic marketing and design duo based in London. After years of collaborating as freelancers, we decided to take the plunge and officially launched The Marketing Mix in 2023.

Since then, we’ve partnered with a diverse range of organisations - from Healthtech, Edtech, and SaaS startups to Charities and Engingeering Consultants - delivering impactful branding, design, marketing, and website projects. Take a look at what we’ve created.

Chloe Ward

Marketing Director

Chloe is a multi-channel marketer with over a decade of experience.

She began her career at a London-based PR agency specialising in finance before transitioning into a marketing role with a European electronics distributor. Over the past five years, Chloe has focused primarily on supporting early-stage businesses, driving growth through strategic marketing, compelling messaging, and standout campaigns.

Chloe has worked with electronics brands such as Murata, Fortec, and Waldom, BPOs like Enshored and OP360, and tech startups including Certa and TableYeti.

Charlotte Thornes

Creative Director

Charlotte is a designer with nearly 20 years of experience across branding, digital design and creative strategy. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Product Design from Brunel University, where she focused on website design, graphic communication and sustainable design. Her work was recognised with the Design Plus BDI Award for innovation in environmentally conscious design.

She began her career in the built environment, producing winning proposals for brands including Red Bull, QVC and Candy & Candy. Since then, Charlotte has worked across sectors such as healthtech, edtech and SaaS, building brand systems and digital experiences for growing businesses. She also holds a Master CIW qualification in web design and development, giving her a strong technical edge alongside her creative skills.
